WHAT IS THE MODEL OF "TRANSFORMATIONAL PRAYER"?
From the moment we make the decision to follow our Lord, He makes us a new creature. Our identity changes and we have power and authority in the name of our Lord. Sadly, many times as believers we do not live in this new identity because our past continues to have a great impact on our present (many times unconsciously). This conditions us and does not allow us to live in the freedom to which our Lord has called us.
Transformational Prayer consists of being able to be present to the Lord so that He reveals to us what is keeping us from living in His freedom.
Dysfunctional behaviors such as work addiction, the need to control everything, sexual addictions, alcohol, drugs, the need to please everyone, a tendency to blame others, the desire to flee, the need to hide... are the result of something much deeper and needs the healing touch of our Lord.
WHO IS IT FOR?
This retreat is intended for believers who wish to continue investing in their emotional, physical, and spiritual well-being. The teaching sessions will be conducted in a group setting. For the spiritual part, participants will be organized into small groups according to their individual needs and differences.
One of the pillars of this retreat is confidentiality and mutual respect. It is essential that no one feels pressured to share anything they do not wish to. Additionally, participants will have private spaces where they can speak with their group leader if they so desire.
WHAT DOES IT CONSIST OF?
The SPIRITUAL TRANSFORMATION program consists of 16 sessions. Each session includes a teaching component that addresses topics such as dysfunctional behaviors, emotional disorders, false beliefs or lies, past traumas, and wounds, all from a biblical and psychological perspective. The second part of each session is dedicated to allowing participants to deepen their personal relationship with God through the Bible, prayer, creation, and various spiritual disciplines. This aspect is key for the Holy Spirit to reveal what He wishes to show to each person.
DURATION OF THE PROGRAM
This program is available in three formats: an intensive one-week retreat, a 16-week course with weekly sessions, and a blended format.
